The UArizona Data Science Institute has selected CTS Ph.D. student Chidiebere Peter Echieh as a member of the 2022-23 cohort of Data Science Fellows. This program will expose fellows to data processing, management, and re-use as well as project management and open science. Fellows will also benefit from a 10- week course in Foundational Open Science Skills (FOSS) organized by Cyverse. The data science fellows will also engage in community outreach to facilitate skill transfer in data science.
Peter Echieh joined the CTS Ph.D. Program in Fall 2021. He is working with Dr. Robert Hooker on building a myocardial tissue bank as well as secondary analyses of national databases. The Data Science Fellows program will enhance his proficiency in data processing and clinical translational science.
