Trevor Wendt, a Ph.D. student in Clinical Translational Sciences, has been elected as the 2022 Graduate Student Councilor to serve on the Executive Committee of the Arizona Physiological Society (AZPS) Trevor is a member of Dr. Rayna Gonzales’s lab at the College of Medicine-Phoenix, where he is examining the roles of LOX-1 and S1PR1 on human cerebrovascular endothelial cells following ischemic injury. Trevor is replacing CTS Ph.D. student Tala Curry, who served as the AZPS Graduate Student Councilor for 2021. Please join us in congratulating Trevor on his new leadership role with the AZPS!
