Stephanie Tribble

Ph.D. Student - Tucson

Stephanie received her B.S. in Bio-medical Science and developed in interest in the fascinating world of translational research, first while working in a diagnostic laboratory, and later as a surgical assistant. She joined the CTS program at the University of Arizona in 2019 and is conducting her research in the Wilson Lab, where she is focusing on immunological aspects of the intestinal epithelium; specifically, disturbances associated with inflammation in models lacking Aim2 – a protein that senses cytoplasmic DNA and plays a role in inflammasome formation. She is pursuing her graduate degree with the hope of one day becoming a physician researcher.
