Ph.D. Student - Tucson
Liane graduated in Medicine (2002) in Brazil. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine (2007) with the Federal District Department of Health at the Hospital of Base of Brasilia (Brazil), and then did a Medical Oncology fellowship with the Association Against Cancer in Goias (Brazil) at the Araujo Jorge Hospital (2009). Liane earned a Master of Science in Cancer Sciences from the University of Glasgow, UK (2017) with emphasis on Neuro-Oncological Tumors. She began the PhD program in Fall 2018 and is mentored by Dr. Sherry Chow with emphasis on Breast Cancer Prevention.
